Exocrine Pancreas
The pancreas is an exocrine gland (~95%) with small islands of endocrine tissue (islets of Langerhans, 2 to 5%). This specimen is stained with Azan to highlight the stroma that separates the gland into lobules and supports blood vessels and ducts.
